RESERVATION
DEPOSIT
Credit card
details (or a cheque) are required at the time of booking. to stand
against a
non refundable 10%
deposit for a reservation to be made for most times of the year.
A 20%
non refundable deposit is required for the following
-
10 days over
Christmas/New Year,
-
Easter,
-
the long
weekends of June & October
-
and Australia
Day and Anzac day if they become long weekends because of the day falling on
a Friday or Monday
Cancellation charges within 24 hours of the booked dates, or "no show" charges are
25% of the total
tariff, for the non specified times of the year
50% of the total tariff, .for
the holiday periods requiring a 20% non refundable deposit
This higher
‘within 24 hours’ penalty is because once YOU have booked, no other
reservations are take for those dates, and the chances of obtaining a
replacement booking in that small time slot is almost non existent.
If the credit card
details are supplied, the deposit is only deducted if a cancellation occurs,
otherwise the full payment is made at the time of your actual stay.
|
- Pets must stay outside the house
|
 |
-
Be
cause of the density and proximity of the surrounding bush and it is
a known paralysis tick area, the wearing of tick collars is highly
advisable (they need to be worn for at least 7 days to become
fully effective protection).
-
Pets
must be tied up/caged at night, or when not in direct vision.
-
Dogs
MUST be leashed if bushwalking on neighbouring properties.
-
On
Craigmhor, unless the dog is extremely obedient, it also needs to be
leashed when bushwalking.
|
|
The
reasons for the dogs to be leashed are twofold
1. to
protect the wild life
2. to
protect the dog.
There is
so much wildlife within a few metres of where you are, and city/suburban
dogs find the space and all the "doggy interesting" sights,
smells and sounds all too alluring.
In
this forested mountain country they are out of sight or hearing very
quickly.
It
is very traumatic for everyone if the pet becomes lost |
TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS
